What a lovely piece! My fella & I went to Smuggler's Cove last summer and you have described it perfectly (and much better than I could). I am so jealous you saw a beaver! We were probably walking far too fast...and maybe even had the dog off-leash (*gasp*)! It is a beautiful place, though. In fact, the entire Sunshine Coast is spectacular. I'm glad to had your mini-vac there! And I love this poem too. I am terrible at coming up with names, but maybe it should be "But"? Finally a PS: I will be away on the17th, so will once again miss the writing session. Hopefully in July?
