I love the images that my mind sees from reading your words. And that mornings are not your thing. And the dilemmas that arise from lists…

Thank you Kristine!

Yes, whoever invented lists has given us a mixed blessing!

I know exactly that frustrating feeling of being a person that does, rather than who is… so I encourage you to change up your to-do list. I also believe in a to-don’t list! Being busy is a double edged sword, and it sounds like you know going to the beach to be un-busy is precisely what you need. Good luck!

Thanks Nicole! I love the idea of a to-don’t list too.

In the Sleep Country store in Broadmead there are dream messages on the ceiling written on backlit clouds. So when you lie down to test a bed you can read all about dreams. One says, "we forget 90% of our dreams within 5 minutes of waking." I forget the others (just like I forget dreams) so I'll have to go back and take photos with my phone – there's a dream poem in there somewhere! So yes, we must pay attention to our dreams.

I’m very impressed with whoever thought to put dream info on the clouds. And yes - a poem in the making!

Well we all know what a new dress made of caution tape means! (Just kidding. No we don't) 😅

I recently began Pages first thing in the morning again as a way to help myself wake up and transition into the day. For the first 3 days, it was just writing about how waking up early to write the pages was going. It felt silly as a thing in itself, but I am enjoying it as a first activity. Beats looking at my phone or hitting snooze when I really don’t have time to sleep in.

I’m impressed. I did them in the morning for a little while as a young woman, and all I wrote about was breakfast.

I suspect that the only reason I no longer write about breakfast is because my breakfast option has tightened to a singular invariable. I make it in a big batch and eat it every day. I might write about plans for lunch or dinner though. I often write about whether I had a tasty snack yesterday and so whether I ought to have a tasty snack again today or need to go a day inbetween snacks every now and then.

Ha ha that makes me feel better. I’m always writing about food in my pages.
